Status

Validity in debate. Possibly a juvenile of another species.

Inferno Bay, Sao Tiago Island, Cape Verde

Distribution

Very small shell, rather elongated, with a raised spire, striated and with dark blotches on white. The last whorl has a bluish-white ground colour, with a reticulated pattern and dark brown thin spiral lines. Brown aperture with two whitish bands.

Radula: slender tooth, with the apical portion shorten than half of the length of the radular tooth. Barb almost absent. Blade almost indistinct, ending near the well-defined waist. Serration with 12 very small denticles, in a single row on the apical portion. Base broad.
