Moderately small, bullet shaped shell, with a very high spire and slightly angular shoulder. The shell is dark green, with many fine black spiral lines, interrupted by white dots. There is often a lighter spiral band below mid-body; some specimens may present more than one light band. The aperture is very light violet, with a lighter band corresponding to the one on the body whorl; this lighter band makes an indentation on the very dark browb color of the inner lip.

Radula: Vermivorous type, with a long and well-defined barb and a prominent blade. The apical portion is shorter than half the length of the radular tooth. Waist well marked, base narrow.
