Description

Small to moderately small-sized shell (15-30 mm). ). Very similar to C. a. algoensis Ground colour of the shell is white, with a bluish or pinkish shade. Pattern reduced to a broad spiral brown band below the shoulder. Basal region stained with brown, occasionally in form of diffuse axial flecks. Spire white, patternless but sometimes with traces of a brown colour immediately above the suture.
